NOUS PEOPLE is a People, Culture & Inclusion consultancy inspired by the ancient Greek word nous (νοῦς), a concept associated with understanding, insight and reflection.
We believe that organisations are shaped by the people within them. The way people think, connect, collaborate and lead influences workplace culture, employee experience and organisational performance. When organisations understand these dynamics, they are better equipped to attract talent, develop people and create environments where individuals and teams can thrive.
At NOUS PEOPLE, we work alongside organisations to explore people and culture challenges and translate insight into action. Through inclusive recruitment, learning and development, and strategic people support, we design tailored solutions that reflect the unique context, goals and ambitions of each organisation.

Meet the Founder
Theodore Arnaoutis
I have always been drawn to people, learning and development. Before my career in HR, I studied to become a teacher during my bachelor’s degree, driven by a strong interest in how people grow, learn and connect.
During my studies, while working in a part-time role alongside them, I discovered Human Resources and became increasingly interested in how organisations shape people’s experiences at work. This led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Cultural Diversity Management at Tilburg University, where I explored how culture influences people, behaviour, organisations and inclusion.
Although I was often told that my background in education did not belong in HR, I chose to follow that direction anyway. I was accepted to Tilburg University, graduated with honours, and started my HR career.
Over the past 7 years, spanning both my academic and professional experience, I have worked across talent acquisition, HR operations, people policies, DEI and people development, supporting different stages of the employee lifecycle and collaborating with stakeholders in both academic and organisational settings.
This combination of academic grounding and hands-on HR experience has shaped my approach: practical, people-centred and focused on organisational impact.
As Founder of NOUS PEOPLE, I work with organisations on inclusive recruitment, people development and HR strategy through tailored, practical solutions.
